DEL: Straubing Tigers fire coach Bill Stewart

The Straubing Tigers have broken up with coach Bill Stewart.This was announced by Lower Bavaria on Wednesday.First, co-trainer Robert Leask will be in charge of the team, which is the last remaining team in the standings after eight defeats from the first 13 games of the season.

“The team’s performance in the last few weeks has not lived up to our expectations.We are very disappointed about this,”said the sports director Jason Dunham:”We have brought Bill Stewart to further develop the sporting development of DEL Straubing.Unfortunately, this has not succeeded.”
