BBL: First defeat of the season: Würzburg loses the lead of the standings to Berlin

On the sixth matchday of the German Basketball Bundesliga, s. Oliver Würzburg took the first defeat of the season and lost to Alba Berlin. The Franks were defeated by Braunschweig’s basketball lions 71:73 (34:34), while Alba did not give up on Rockets Erfurt at 95:61 (41:36).

The former series champion from the capital city is at the top with 12:2, ahead of Würzburg (10:2).

Outstanding player in Brunswick was Center Scott Eatherton, who led the hosts to their second victory of the season with 29 points.

Robin Benzing, an international player, was unable to prevent Würzburg from losing 29 points. In Berlin, Albas Dennis Clifford (19) and Bogdan Radosavljevic (15) were convincing.
