Handball: Magdeburg narrowly wins against Constanta
The SC Magdeburg has to fear for their place in the group stage in the EHF-Cup. The SCM won the third qualifying round in the first leg against HC Dobrogea Sud Constanta from Romania with only 27:25 (13:10).
Thus Magdeburg travels to the second leg in one week with a narrow margin. With ten goals, Robert Weber was the best throwing star. On Saturday, last year’s finalist Füchse Berlin had taken a bigger step towards the group stage with a 30:27 (14:12) at FC Porto.
This begins on 10. February 2018. In the last three years, the winner of the EHF-Cup has always been from the Bundesliga, as in 13 of the last 14 seasons. The defending champion is Frisch Auf Göppingen, who had to settle for a 27-27 (14-15) win against the Norwegian OIF Arendal in his first leg on Wednesday.
