Basketball: BBL: Würzburg terminates contract with Anderson

Basketball Bundesliga club s. Oliver Würzburg has cancelled the contract with Power Forward Ryan Anderson.

After hiring Robin Benzing at the beginning of the season, coach Dirk Bauermann did not find a suitable role for the 24-year-old American in the team structure. This was announced by the ninth in the standings on Friday.

Anderson had only moved to Würzburg in the summer from Antwerp Giants, Belgium’s first division team. There he played seven of the ten seasonal matches, but did not go beyond a time of 13.6 minutes.
