NBA: Comeback of Blake Griffin at the Clippers nears
The Los Angeles Clippers can look forward to the early return of Blake Griffin. The Power Forward is already training again and could play for the Clippers again this year.
That’s what Brad Turner from L. A. says. Times. Clippers coach Doc Rivers confirmed this and said that Griffin could possibly make his comeback against the Lakers on Friday. The Power Forward missed the last 14 games due to a knee injury.
“Blake doesn’t want to miss any games, he wants to play on the court,”Rivers explained,”If you could see how he works on himself, you’d all understand.” Besides Griffin, Wesley Johnson could also come back. The Wing missed five games because of a sprained foot.
It should give hope to the Clippers, because despite the many injured players the playoff train for the Clippers has not yet departed. Despite a record of 14-19, the gap to eighth place (New Orleans Pelicans) is only three victories.
