SPOX explains everything you need to know about the game, the transmission on TV, Livestream and Liveticker.

The German national team made an outstanding start to the tournament, beating Montenegro clearly 32:19.

Pure drama came in the second group game, however: Slovenia looked like the sure winner at first, but after the final whistle the referees looked at the repetition of the last German attack for minutes – and then decided on seven meters, which finally secured the equaliser.

Germany’s next opponent, Macedonia, won their two previous group matches. All important information about the whole tournament can be found here.

In addition to the broadcast on TV, ARD shows the match against Macedonia in a live stream. SPOX also offers a LIVE TICKER to keep you up to date on the game.

“It speaks for the national coach that he has the balls to revise his decision”, goalkeeper Andreas Wolff became relatively clear in the conversation with SPOX:”I find it very positive that Finn Lemke joins us.

Christian Prokop left three European champions at home and caused excitement. The trainer told ZDF:”I could have thought of that in advance, but I acted out of conviction. I’ve been looking at this for a long time and I think we’re the 16 strongest people here.”

Keeper Andreas Wolff also spoke about the squad:”The team makes a good impression. We are more confident and relaxed than we were two years ago,”Uwe Gensheimer stated:” We have the goal of defending the title, but we have to do our homework in the group phase.

Germany is second in Group C behind Macedonia. Coach Gonzalez’s team defeated Slovenia in their first group game before they beat Montenegro.
