Basketball: EuroCup: Alba Berlin loses in Istanbul

Alba Berlin won the second defeat in the top 16 of the EuroCup. On the third matchday, the former German series champion lost 70:82 (45:44) to the Turkish club Darüssafaka Istanbul.

Alba is third with a record of one victory and two defeats in the standings of Group E fours behind Darüssafaka (3-0) and Gran Canaria Las Palmas/Spain (2-1). Two teams reach the quarter-finals.

Peyton Siva was the best thrower of the Berliners, who lost in the third quarter, with 21 points.
