Ice hockey: DEB team also tests against Slovakia before the World Cup

The German national ice hockey team is competing in preparation for the World Championships in Denmark (4. until 20. May) two home games against Slovakia.

Within the Euro Hockey Challenge, the matches will take place on 14 March. April in Weißwasser and one day later in Dresden. This was announced by the German Ice Hockey Association (DEB) on Thursday.

The World Cup preparations for the selection of national coach Marco Sturm will begin in Russia at the beginning of April. After the Slovakia games, there are still two duels with France in Wolfsburg (19. April) and Berlin (21. April) on the program. The dress rehearsal for the title matches will take place at the end of April in the host country Denmark.
