In the Arena Leipzig, which was sold out with 6120 spectators, Danish backroom players Nielsen Damgaard and Mads Christiansen led the guests to victory with five goals each. Damgaard, who was beaten, scored the decisive goal three seconds to go. Rear player Philipp Weber was the best goal scorer in Leipzig with six goals.
