Basketball: Rödl proud:”Are a growing basketball nation”

National coach Henrik Rödl praised the German basketball players in the highest tones after their convincing victory in the World Cup qualification over Serbia (79:74).

“You don’t win every day against the Serbs,”the 48-year-old said,”I’m very proud.”

After their third win in the third game, the German Basketball League will be leading Group G.
