NBA: Media: Replaces Ilyasova before agreement with the Philadelphia 76ers
Ersan Ilyasova and the Atlanta Hawks must have agreed on a buyout. The Turk won’t be without a club for long. According to media reports, the Power Forward is already negotiating an engagement with the Philadelphia 76ers.
This was reported by Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. According to this, the Hawks and Ilyasova have been talking about a possible buyout for several days and the tendency is that Atlanta would let the big one go if a playoff team showed interest.
And this list is long, with the Philadelphia 76ers likely to win. Ilyasova also had other options. The Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks and the Toronto Raptors were named by Charania.
However, Ilyasova is expected to show great interest in a reunion with the Sixers, for which he has already played 53 games in the 2016/17 season.
The Turk hung up an average of 10.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for the Hawks, hitting 35.9 percent of the three-line. This quality as well as his solid defense were highly appreciated by many playoff teams.
