Ice Hockey: WM, Germany vs. Canada: See DEB’s World Cup farewell in the live stream
After only one victory from five group matches, the German national team is unable to take part in the quarter-finals. The seventh group match of the German team against Canada (Tue, 15.05. from 16.15 on LIVETICKER and live on DAZN) is therefore no more than tournament cosmetics. SPOX tells you what you need to know to play the DEB team against title favourite Canada.
Against South Korea, the Germans celebrated their first and only victory in Group B, but their 3-1 defeat to Latvia cost them every chance of making it to the quarter-finals of the World Cup. After winning the silver medal at the Winter Olympics, the performance at the World Championship is a step backwards for Marco Sturm’s team.
All in all, the DEB selection was too vulnerable, especially in phases of shortage, and showed unaccustomed final weaknesses in front of the goal. Germany were also the better team against Latvia at first, but did not recover from the gap shortly before the second third break.
The seventh group match against Canada will take place next Tuesday at 4.15 pm.
The streaming service DAZN shows the match of the German national team against Canada as well as all other matches of the Ice Hockey World Championship in live stream.
