WWE: Ronda Rousey suspended after Ausraster

Ronda Rousey was suspended by WWE for 30 days after an outburst in the first RAW broadcast to PPV Money in the Bank. The former UFC fighter had beaten up her opponent Alexa Bliss as well as General Manager Kurt Angle and several referees.

The hand mixture was triggered by Bliss’s provocation towards Rousey. Rousey had a victory over Championesse Nia Jax in the previous PPV, but Bliss redeemed her MitB case and secured her belt. Rousey was left empty-handed.

When Bliss addressed this on RAW and insulted Rousey as a rookie, the 31-year-old freaked out. First she beat up Bliss, then she knocked Angle out with a Judo throw. The general manager had wanted to separate the two opponents.

When Rousey then beat Angle with a suitcase, several referees rushed to the ring. Rousey wouldn’t calm down and threw the impartial out of the ring. To finish, she chased Bliss through a table in the ring with a power bomb and left the arena.

In the parking garage Rousey was finally caught up by Angle. He announced that he was still on their side, but in his function as general manager he had to punish Rousey. Accordingly, she was suspended for 30 days.
