DEL: DEL start live today: match pairs, TV broadcast, live stream
Today, Friday, September 14th, the German Ice Hockey League starts into the new season. At SPOX you will find an overview of all games and you can see where the DEL can be followed live.
Last year’s finals will be repeated at the start of the 25th season. The Eisbären Berlin receive EHC Red Bull Munich.
The top match between the polar bears Berlin and Red Bull Munich can be seen on German free TV on Sport1. The broadcast starts five minutes before the match starts with the preliminary reports. Telekom Sport will also show all matches of the first day on TV and live stream. A subscription to Telekom Sport costs EUR 4.95 per month.
SPOX also offers you all games in the conference live ticker.
One day before the start of the season, the DEL has published its own rule book for the first time. The edition is 224 pages long and strongly based on the rules and regulations of the World Federation IIHF. Some rules and rule interpretations make a difference, which are adapted to the requirements of the league game operation in Germany.
“We exchanged information with other European top leagues and the NHL when preparing the rule book. Our policy is to manage the games fairly and safely for the players. With the DEL rule book, we now have a tool at hand that enables us to do just that,” said Lars Brüggemann, head of DEL refereeing.
