Basketball: World Cup qualifier live today: DBB team against Israel

After Robin Benzing missed both the VTG Supercup in Hamburg and the World Cup qualifying match against Estonia, the captain will be there against Israel. Benzing had left the national team’s training camp to sign his new contract with Besiktas Istanbul. But now the forward has returned to the team.

“We are very pleased that Robin is available for the game against Israel,” said national coach Henrik Rödl. “He is a very important part of this team, has carried us in many a game and will have no problems getting back on board quickly.
