Alpine skiing: Lizz Görgl fails with “Das Supertalent
Elisabeth Görgl concentrates on her career as a musician after retiring from her career as a ski racer. At the RTL show “Das Supertalent” the Styrian had to suffer a setback on Saturday.
The double world champion gave a cover version of the hit “Perfect” by Fairground Attraction, but could not completely convince the jury around Dieter Bohlen.
Bruce:
“I think you have a beautiful voice and you also dance well, but it’s just like that … Nothing that has an extraordinary effect on me,” said Bruce Darnell, for example, who denied Görgl any further progress, as did the pop titan.
“I know exactly what you mean”, confirmed Bohlen Darnell before he turned to Görgl: “You sing much better than I do skiing, but to get started professionally … there are really, I have to tell you honestly, people who are better. That’s why I can’t give you a yes.”
Only Sylvie Meis, ex-wife of kicker Rafael van der Vaart, voted for the 37-year-old to get ahead: “I just love this song, maybe that’s why I’m so enthusiastic”.
Görgl himself took it sporty and especially thanked Bohlen for his feedback. “Maybe you can teach me a little bit more at some point, I would love to teach you how to ski really fast,” Görgl promised.
