LeBron: No more high fives
LeBron James talks about the effects of the corona crisis and never wants to give anybody a high five. His body is also surprised by the break.
The “handshake ban” in times of the corona crisis has apparently burned itself into basketball superstar LeBron James (35).
“I’m not going to shake hands with anyone for the rest of my life after this crap,” the pro from the NBA team Los Angeles Lakers said in an interview at Podcast Road Trippin: “No more high fives. After this Corona crap? Wait till you see me and my teammates high-fiving after this crap.”
James otherwise reported that the sudden league break caught him on the wrong foot indefinitely. “My body said: Hey man, what the hell’s going on? It’s March 13th. You’re getting ready for the playoffs. Why are you shutting down?” Now he’s still working out a little bit, otherwise he’s got a lot of family time and watches some TV shows.
Overall, it’s a “challenging time” where he tries to stay positive, James said. “My great-grandmother always said: Better days will come.”
