Ski Alpin: Brunner wins at Kombi in Crans Montana Fifth, Brignone

Wendy Holdener won the first ball in this World Cup season for the women’s skiers. The Swiss rider finished fourth in the combination of Crans Montana on Sunday to win the discipline ranking. As in the previous year, the stage victory went to the Italian Federica Brignone. The best Austrian was the Tirolean Stephanie Brunner in fifth place.

The final decision in the overall World Cup has been postponed for at least one week. Holdener is 561 points behind Mikaela Shiffrin in another six races. The US-American renounced the races in Crans Montana and could make everything clear on the coming technical weekend in Ofterschwang.
