Ski Alpin: Dreßen wins in Kvitjfell, ÖSV downhill skier clearly beaten

The German Thomas Dreßen wins the downhill in Kvitfjell. The Kitzbühel winner beats Beat Feuz (SUI) by eight hundredths of a second. Local hero Aksel Lund Svindal (NOR/+0.17 sec.) finishes third, his compatriot Kjetil Jansrud (+0.27 sec.) finishes fourth.

The ÖSV riders suffer a clear defeat. Vincent Kriechmayer was the best and only finished in ninth place (+0.67). Hannes Reichelt (+0.88) is twelfth, Max Franz (+1.20)13th. Super-G Olympic champion Matthias Mayer drops out with best interim time
