According to TLC, the latest episode of RAW is setting new standards. Roman Reigns is still missing, Brock Lesnar is back and Smackdown stirs them up.
A few hours earlier, Angle was still in the ring as an active player, and at RAW he resumed his role as General Manager. Angle announced some fights for the upcoming Survivor Series: Alex Bliss against Natalya, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins against The Usos and Baron Corbin against The Miz.
The Awesome One also came on stage when his name was mentioned and demanded Angle’s resignation after he joined TLC with The Shield. However, Angle announced that she did not want to repeat this.
In the first match of the evening, Ambrose and Rollins had to fall back on an unfamiliar partner. After Roman Reigns continued to fail with an infection, AJ Styles took the part as third fighter and landed the victory by Phonomenal Forearm against Cesaro.
But the team could only celebrate the victory for a short time: Kane came to the ring and rushed together with The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus and Curtis Angel to celebrate the winners.
The evening of Kane’s was not over yet. The Big Red Machine was looking for a rival and was quickly challenged by Balor. Kane won clearly with three Chokeslams and sent a signal to rival Braun Strowman.
Bliss came to the ring and told the assembled WWE audience that she would not get the attention and appreciation she deserves. James didn’t do justice to this after the fight at TLC and attacked the champion with a DDT.
For a long time Jordan dominated the fight with Elias and was able to throw his rival out of the ring. Before one of the two opponents could be counted, Elias struck with a guitar. Jordan remained lying down and had to be treated.
At Smackdown, Mahal had called for a fight with Lesnar for the upcoming Survivor Series. The Indian will now receive it, as Paul Heyman announced. The manager came to the ring with Lesnar and explained that Lesnar would soon be wiping the floor with Mahal.
Backstage Fox, Banks and Bayley fought over who would lead the RAW team as captain of the Survivor Series. The resulting triple-threat-match was surprisingly won by Fox.
In the evening’s main event, Angle wanted to announce the RAW fighters for the upcoming PPV, but was quickly interrupted by Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon. Smackdown took over the stage and backstage handled the RAW superstars.
With a surprise effect and enormous numbers, the superstars made their way through the catacombs of the arena in Green Bay in blue shirts and took over room by room. A clear statement from McMahon and his crew.
