Smackdown is all about the upcoming PPV Survivor Series. In the Main Event Kevin Owens helps the wrong man, Becky Lynch celebrates a big victory.
After the events of Hell in a Cell, Zayn and McMahon were once again facing each other in the ring for the first time. This is not in outfit, but with a microphone in your hand. Zayn threatened McMahon to use him and Owens in the Survivor Series.
McMahon disagreed with this and is putting up a fight for the Main Event. If Zayn wins, he’d be part of the team at the upcoming PPV. Opponent: Randy Orton.
The US champion Corbin continues to give Bad Boy. After Sin Cara won last week’s Count Out, this time he “won” by DQ.
Corbin beat the Mexican through the ring and did not let himself be stopped by the referee. After some time he was disqualified, but even then he didn’t give up.
A classic stopgap: Styles versus Singh was never really a duel. After the impartial Jinder Mahal and Samir Singh left the stage, Phenomenal One had an easy time. The Indian was simply handled by Calf Crusher.
The captain of the Smackdown Divas for Survivor Series has been appointed. In a heated fatal 5-Way, Lynch prevailed against her opponents. Without champion Natalya in the ring, a wild Brawl developed, in which many a long time seemed to run out on Carmella.
However, Lynch was able to free herself from a double pin attempt and landed a submission victory with her opponent by dis-arm-her.
The first member of Team Smackdown has been found and surprisingly it’s not called Zayn. The match swayed back and forth before Zayn’s partner Owens intervened. He distracted Orton, but the following rollup was not successful.
The referee was then busy with Owens, which allowed Orton to have a low-blow against Zayn. This went down and was finally switched off with the RKO.
Following the fight, WWE showed a video of General Manager Sami Zayn and McMahon. Bryan was obviously upset because he was not informed about McMahon’s decision to attack RAW on Monday.
