WWE: Smackdown: A glorious debut

At the end of the Summer Slam weekend Smackdown has called a new superstar on the agenda:”Glorious” Bobby Roode made his debut in the WWE Main Roster.The feud between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens continued to gain momentum – and Shinsuke Nakamura took revenge for Sunday’s beatings.

Roode was formerly active in the WWE competitor TNA and most recently won titles at NXT.Now the Canadian is up against the big boys: The Glorious One was presented to the fans for the first time and lived up to its image.At the beginning there was a match against Aiden English, which Roode dominated and won by “Glorious DDT”.He explained that he wanted to make the blue competitor brand to RAW big and glorious after the departure of John Cena.

The feud between AJ Styles and Kevin Owens continued after their Summer Slam duel, but KO now seems to be shooting more and more at Shane McMahon.The latter had cost him the title on Sunday.When McMahon allowed him to choose a referee for a rematch against Styles, KO chose Baron Corbin – but he was replaced by Shane during the match.Styles won again, Owens will now seek revenge on Vince McMahon’s son.

Shinsuke Nakamura has also avenged the Singh Brothers.They had taken him out of the title against Jinder Mahal by their intervention and were now allowed to play a handicap match against the Japanese player.However, they also had no chance in the duet.
