Alpine Skiing: Hirscher with a strong comeback in the 1st half of the year

Marcel Hirscher presented herself in the World Cup slalom in Levi on Sunday at the comeback after an ankle fracture, despite less training days with a strong performance in the first round.

The six-time overall World Cup winner ranked fourth, 0.46 seconds behind the leading Briton Dave Ryding and was the best of the ÖSV team.

In front of world champion Hirscher were German Felix Neureuther (0.14 behind Ryding) and the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen (0.18). The Austrians Marco Schwarz (0.62) and Michael Matt (0.68) placed among the top ten after the first 30 runners.
