Biathlon: Dahlmeier to world championship hype:”No, I can’t even go fast now”.

Laura Dahlmeier is the crowd around her person after the five World Cup titles in February sometimes too big. Since the historic triumph, she has sometimes felt like a piece of common property.

Dahlmeier starts the World Cup season in Hochfilzen. At the start in Östersund she was missing because of a cold.

Last year’s season described it as “a dream winter, it just couldn’t get any better. The time at the World Championships in Hochfilzen was like a little winter fairy tale. However, this persecutes you for a longer time because you are constantly being addressed and confronted with the past. That makes it harder to focus on the new season – and it’s starting from scratch again,”she said.
