Ski Alpin: Shiffrin wins parallel slalom, ÖSV ladies strong

US top favourite Mikaela Shiffrin won the parallel slalom in Courchevel on Wednesday evening, marking her 35th birthday. World Cup victory. The world champion and Olympic champion, who had already won the giant slalom on the previous day, beat Slovakian Petra Vlhova in the final. Third place went to the Italian Irene Curtoni. Best Austrian was Ricarda Haaser in fifth place.
