Boxing: For World Cup fight: Boxer sacrifices a toe
Guido Fiedler has impressively demonstrated his determination to enter the ring against Horvath Balazs. The boxer had a toe amputated to get fit.
“An infection had attacked the bone,”Fiedler explained. When the doctors asked him to be patient, the boxer took other remedies.Instead of waiting to see if his toe recovers and cancels the World Cup fight against Balazs, he decided to amputate his toe.
Before his duel on 16.The 44-year-old had his toe removed in Gersthofen on September 14:”I want to get into the ring and have already made myself smart before. The important thing for me was that I don’t get any balance problems when I have my toe removed.”

Fiedler takes the motivation out of his dream to win a World Cup belt shortly before the end of his career and to prove himself “something else.September in September.”
If Fiedler really wins the fight, thanks to his enormous efforts, the odds are good:”If I win, I’m currently the only reigning world champion in boxing in Augsburg,”he said.
