Ice hockey: 9-1!

Master Vienna Capitals opened the season in the Erste Bank Ice Hockey League (EBEL) on Friday with a 9-1 victory in Fehervar.

Villacher SV defeated Zagreb, the returners of the league, 6:1 and Innsbruck Südtirol 5:3.The KAC with a 2:4 against Graz and Salzburg with a 3:4 against Dornbirn, however, won home defeats.Linz lost 2:3 in Znojmo after extra time.
