Albert Almora Jr., Chicago Cubs outfielder, had to face St. Stephen’s side in the game on Tuesday evening.Louis Cardinals (7:8) injured from the place.Almora had injured himself in the fifth inning with a hit of the Cardinals in the Left-Center Field by crashing against the wall.
I was really scared,”Almora said after the game.” I had a lot of pain in the field.”
The Cardinal’s shortstop, Paul DeJong, hit a line drive into the gap in the left centre.After the ball bounced back from the wall, Almora tried to pick it up but lost control.
“When I started the slide, it was clear to me that I wouldn’t catch the ball,” Almora described the situation.”And the next moment I was thundering against the wall.”
Almora was replaced as Pinch-Hitter in the fifth inning, before he was replaced by Leonys Martin a short time later.
