NFL: Jets: 4th Down and 21?

The New York Jets scored their second victory of the season in the 23:20 overtime thriller.In the Metlife Stadium, however, they drew attention to themselves with a remarkable fake punt towards the end of the first half.

At 20 seconds before the end of the first half, the jets set themselves up to a commercial punt.Instead of shooting the ball deep into the opponent’s half, Punter Lachlan Edwards threw a pass towards Marcus Williams.

Williams was able to run his opponent into the void, but was almost run over by his own player David Bass.The contact, however, only helped Williams to make a quick change of direction and a simple first down after 31 yards.

In the end, however, the jets were unable to raise any direct capital from the wild scene.Chandler Catanzaro missed the field goal, which would have put Gang Green in front with three points for a break.In overtime, Catanzaro made it better and transformed the decisive field goal.
