NBA: Towns:”Can easily be the best player”

Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves could be one of the best players in the league in the near future.The Big Man has long since set himself this goal and believes in achieving it.

“My self-confidence has always been strong,”Towns explained in a conversation with Marc Spears of The Undefeated,”I had the feeling that I could easily be the best player when I entered the league.I always knew it was only a matter of time.”

Towns increased again after a strong rookie season with an average of 25.1 points and 12.3 rebounds,”Before I was even drafted, I had the feeling that I had sufficient faith, self-confidence and the ability to do so.No matter what team.”

I’m very happy with the Timberwolves because they helped me to make things go faster,”says Big Man, who wants to catch up with the absolute elite,” which is definitely something I have on the screen.I’m getting better, smarter, faster every year.So I think I can easily achieve that.It’s only a matter of time.”
