A press conference of super middleweight boxer Chris Eubank jr. (United Kingdom) and Avni Yildirim (Turkey) in Stuttgart has almost turned into a mass brawl.Before the fight between the two opponents in the World Boxing Super Series on Saturday, chaos broke out after various provocations at the Hotel Le Meridien.Several security guards had to intervene and the press conference was cancelled.

“From the corner of my eye I saw Chris Jr.laughed at me and made obscene gestures in my direction.It was enough for me and I just wanted to ram him into the ground,”said Yildirim’s manager and coach Ahmet Öner.

Eubank Jr.and Yildirim will compete in the quarter-finals for the Muhammad Ali Trophy.In another quarter-finals, ex-world champion Brähmer from Schwerin will fight on 27-29 March.October in his hometown against the American Rob Brant.
