NFL: Colts: Luck comeback put on ice

Andrew Luck suffered a setback on the way to his comeback.The star quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts still has pain in the damaged shoulder as a result of his surgery in January.Colts-GM Chris Ballard commented on Luck’s current state of health on Wednesday evening.

After the 28-year-old rejoined the training session, Luck suffered another setback.Ballard avoided a forecast for the coming weeks and the forthcoming season:”I don’t want to speculate now.I’m not gonna set a schedule.”

Ballard does not rule out an early return.However, each player reacts differently to such an injury and must be treated individually.

The Colts want to be gentle with their superstar.Luck knows his body very well, no one in Indianapolis doubts his absolute commitment and will.The Colts boss did not categorically rule out renewed operations in pain either.For the time being, however, Jacoby Brissett will lead the team on the field.
