NBA: Rose mad:”Only I can’t get this call.”

In the game against Milwaukee Bucks Derrick Rose, after a foul by Greg Monroe, snapped over and had to be replaced. The Ex-MVP then complained about the call.

“I think I’m the only person in the league who won’t be whistling an unsportsmanlike foul in a situation like this,”said Rose.”Come on. That was a regular foul? Wow.”

Rose had tried a reverse layup, and Monroe tried to block it. The Bucks-Center caught the Cavaliers-Guard at the neck and the head instead, while it was in the air. When Rose landed, he bent over. Nevertheless, the referees decided on a normal foul:”It was not intentional”, they are supposed to have told the Cavs coaches afterwards.

Tyronn Lue said he does not expect to be able to use Rose against the Magic on Saturday,”We need to see how he feels. At the moment it doesn’t look that good,”explained the head coach. Rose was able to leave the hall without any support.

Meanwhile, Dwyane Wade supported Rose’s statement that he would not get any calls:”I haven’t received any calls in the last few years, so I understand what he means,”Wade says,”What we’re told is actually that it’s automatically a flagrant foul when the neck is caught. But Derrick already told us when he told the team he wouldn’t get any calls. And unfortunately, it is still the case. Hopefully, next time it will change.”
