NBA: Green irritated by fine

The NBA announced Sunday’s fines following the skirmish between the Golden State Warriors and the Washington Wizards.

The wizards players Carrick Felix and Markieff Morris were suspended for one game each, as they left the bank during the scramble. This was originally held between Bradley Beal and Draymond Green before other players joined the court or tried to separate the taps.

Beal and Green were both expelled from the hall. The Wizards Guard, who was considered the initiator, has now received a fine of more than $50,000, while Green has to pay $25,000. Wizards-forward Kelly Oubre is also said to pay 15,000 dollars because he had “aggressively turned on”.

After the Warriors game against Detroit on Sunday, Green has now said that he finds the sentence unfair:”I was beaten, I didn’t fight back and was punished anyway,”Green says.”He only gets $50,000, I get $25,000. Oubre comes in and fights for himself and has to pay less than I do. In my opinion, the calculation is not working. I know they’re not the biggest fans of mine, but showing it like this is really too obvious.”

Dubs coach Steve Kerr also hinted that Green’s reputation could have played a role:”I don’t know why you have to pay $25,000 for being attacked. It could be that the previous reputation may have played along with it,”Kerr said.
