NHL: Draisaitl meets, oilers lose
The first goal of the season for German ice hockey star Leon Draisaitl (21) has not averted the first home defeat of the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL.Draisaitl and the Oilers lost in their third game Winnipeg Jets 2:5, Draisaitl scored 1:2.
Winnipegs Nikolaj Ehlers was an outstanding player on the ice with three goals.
Edmonton’s head coach Todd McLellan sounded the alarm after his second consecutive defeat, saying,”The biggest worry is our mental state of mind,”he said,”I don’t think we know how hard it is to win.I’ve seen it in the past.You have to understand how difficult it is.Our boys don’t know that yet.”

The two German goalkeepers Thomas Greiss (31) and Philipp Grubauer (25) were defeated by a narrow margin.Greiss lost with his New York Islanders in the home Barclays Center to St. Stephen’s.Louis Blues with 2:3 after penalty shooting.Dennis Seidenberg was not involved.Grubauer was beaten by the Washington Capitals at Tampa Bay Lightning 3:4 after extra time.
