NBA: 57 points!
LeBron James made a statement against the Washington Wizards and led his Cleveland Cavaliers to victory with 57 points. At the same time, the mega star also reached another milestone and broke the 29,000 point mark.
How to deal with a crisis? LeBron James has his own method. Against the wizards, the multiple MVP scored as many points as only about 3.5 years ago. He scored at the Miami Heat on the 3rd day of the season. March 2014 61 points against Charlotte Bobcats.
This time 57 points (23/34 FG, 2/4 Dreier, 9/9 FT) stood for this time insane. Additionally he grabbed 11 rebounds, played 7 assists and added 3 steals and 2 blocks to it. It wasn’t even against any opponent, but one of the biggest rivals in the conference. The Wizards had no means against this force of nature, especially when James entered the post office. Only towards the end did the power of the number 23 diminish a little bit and he threw one or the other Airball. In addition to his fable appearance, James also broke the magic 29,000 point mark.
It was generally a game with little defense, in which the cavs controlled the action thanks to LeBron most of the time. Cleveland scored 42 points in the first quarter, and 74 at the interval. Nevertheless, the wizards never let themselves be shaken completely. Cleveland’s greatest lead was 15 points. In the fourth quarter, the hosts tried everything again, but James always had the right answer. Bradley Beal scored 36 points (12/19 FG), John Wall scored only 13 points (4/13 FG), but delivered 15 direct submissions. Kelly Oubre Jr. (21) also contributed five threesomes.

The cavs couldn’t stop them, however. The champion of the Eastern Conference of the last three years shot 56.1 percent out of the field and also scored well from downtown (12/27 threesomes, 44.4 percent). Derrick Rose and James were followed by Derrick Rose with 20 points (8/16 FG). Jae Crowder (17) also played a decent part, but in this performance by LeBron they were all only decorative accessories.
