NFL: After lockdown: Ezekiel Elliott has left the country
After his suspension was finally enforced by an appellate court and thus officially began in Week 10, Running Back Ezekiel Elliott has left the country. Where the star of the Dallas Cowboys is currently staying is unknown.
In the run-up to the game of his cowboys against Atlanta Falcons, it was announced that Elliott had left the United States to “completely reboot, get a clear head and then be back in top form for the cowboys by the end of December,”as NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported on the NFL network.
Rapoport also reported that Elliott would miss at least four games, given that the next court hearing would not take place until 1 January. December. If he were to do the complete suspension of six games, he would not be back until Christmas Eve.
Elliott runs at an average of 126.5 yards per game and last had 150 yards against the Redskins in Week 8. The cowboys also ran as a team in the last four games for an average of 183 yards, the best value in the NFL over this period.
