NFL: Crabtree and Talib fly away for brawl

Wide Receiver Michael Crabtree and Cornerback Aqib Talib caused an early sensation in the Oakland Raiders’ game against Denver Broncos. Both were expelled for field punches.

The match on Sunday in Week 12 of the NFL season was less than four minutes old, and the fists were already flying between Crabtree and Talib. Crabtree had energetically blocked Talib out on a play. Afterwards, the two went at each other and distributed punches, but they missed their target. They formed a pack of both teams and then both players went at each other again.

The result were penalties on both sides for personal fouls, which lifted each other. For the players, however, the game was over. Raiders-Guard Gabe Jackson also had to leave the game because he had pushed a referee.

For Talib and Crabtree, it’s not the first “rodeo” – both of them got in each other’s way last year, when Crabtree Talib had torn a gold necklace from their necks and both of them were involved in a brawl afterwards.
