In the case of state-controlled doping in Russia, new documents have become public in which the former Sports Minister and current Deputy Prime Minister Witali Mutko is severely incriminated. In two diaries of the whistleblower and leniency witness Grigory Rodchenkov, which are closely and manually described, the New York Times has been able to view them exclusively and published extracts on Tuesday, Mutko’s role as the central figure of manipulation at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi is described.

Later, the chief witness wrote that the Olympic laboratory in Sochi should continue to be run after the Games on instructions from Mutko, as a place for experiments with new doping methods.”We have solved all the problems,”wrote Rodchenkow on 3 March.
