NHL: Draisaitl wins German duel against Rieder

Leon Draisaitl won the German duel in the North American NHL against Tobias Rieder. Draisaitl’s Edmonton Oilers won the basement duel against the Arizona Coyotes after extra time with 3:2.

Draisaitl remained without goal and assist. Rieder stood on the ice for 17:39 minutes, but was not able to put himself in the limelight. In the Western Conference, the Oilers are still on the penultimate place with 22 points, only Arizona is even worse with 16 points.

The New York Islanders confirmed their good form and won 5-2 against the Vancouver Canucks. Dennis Seidenberg and Thomas Greiss were not used. The team ranks fourth in the Eastern Conference with 32 points.
