NFL: Gordon about to make his season debut in Cleveland
Josh Gordon’s long-awaited season debut is imminent. Cleveland Brown’s Wideout will be back in an NFL game on Sunday in the match against the Los Angeles Chargers for the first time since 2014. This was explained by Head Coach Hue Jackson.
“Am I confident? Anyway,”said Jackson at a press conference on Thursday about the possible launch of Gordon on Sunday,”are you kidding me? Of course it will start immediately!”
Jackson compared the anticipation of Gordon’s mission to that of Christmas. The Wideout was officially activated on Thursday and is allowed to play against the Los Angeles Chargers.
“I think I can get all that out of myself,”explained Gordon himself,”everything I’ve done and what I haven’t done yet. I have a very good feeling, and I think there’s no limit to what I can do.”
Gordon played his last match in Week 16 of the 2014 season against the Carolina Panthers. The 26-year-old was suspended for one year in February 2015 due to a positive alcohol test. A comeback to the 2016 season failed because Gordon volunteered to go to a rehab clinic to “gain full control of my life”.
