NHL: Kühnhackl strikes Penguins victory – Greiss devastating
Tom Kühnhackl scored his first goal of the season at the NHL and celebrated his third victory in a row with the Pittsburgh Penguins. In the Buffalo Sabres, the champion won 4-0.
The German international Kühnhackl made sure of a 1-0 lead early on with a converted penalty shot.
For the Landshuter Kühnhackl (25) it was in the 27th century. Use the fourth scorer point of the current season. Superstar Sidney Crosby, Jake Guentzel and Patric Hornqvist also met.
The evening was less successful for Thomas Greiss. The goalkeeper of the New York Islanders scored five goals in 20 shots and was replaced by Jaroslav Halak in the second period. However, the Slovakian lost 5-6 to the Ottawa Senators in a decisive counter-attack. Defender Dennis Seidenberg played 16:51 minutes for the Islanders.
