NBA: Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns hurts against the Toronto Raptors
Devin Booker from the Phoenix Suns injured himself shortly before the end of the game against Toronto Raptors and had to leave the field with the help of his team-mates. The guard pulled a muscle in the adductor area.
The team announced this after an initial investigation. I don’t know yet how bad it is,”said a concerned Jay Triano, head coach of Suns, after the game.
Booker didn’t want to talk to the media after the game, but Tyler Ulis wanted to talk to the other players. I hope he didn’t make it worse.”
It’s still unclear whether Booker will be longer than expected,”I’ve seen players bite their teeth on something like this. Others didn’t do that,”Triano said,”The doctors will provide clarity and then we’ll take care of him.”
The Suns now stand at a balance of 9-17. Booker was the best Phoenix player of the season. The Shooting Guard played an average of 24.3 points and 4.1 assists in 25 games.
