“It’s been a long way from the day of the injury to today, but now I’m overjoyed to say that I can return,”Rodgers wrote on his Instagram page:”Thank you for all the love, support, prayers, and recovery wishes over the past eight weeks and a special thank you to Dr. Mckenzie and our incredible medical department.”

For Rodgers, Backup Brett Hundley stepped in and gave Cheeseheads hope for the playoffs with a 3-4 record since A-Rod’s defeat and two close overtime victories over the Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Rodgers couldn’t have picked a better time to make his comeback: In the last three regular season games, the Packers will face the strong Panthers (9-4) and then the Vikings and the Detroit Lions against two Division rivals.
