NFL: Colts boss: Nothing to worry about in Luck’s shoulder

The Indianapolis Colts are long before the broken pieces of a lost season, which Andrew Luck finally missed completely due to his shoulder surgery. Team owner Jim Irsay gave the fans hope for the coming season.

Irsay told NFL network insider Ian Rapoport that Luck was “great”:”Of course we’re disappointed that the process has taken so long. But that’s the way things are in medicine sometimes. However, there has been no unusual setback. or something we didn’t know about.”

Irsay also reported that his quarterback is still in Europe, where Luck had undergone further treatment,” he continued. However,”he” is expected to return home very soon. There are no further surgeries planned at this time.”

Colts fans will still enjoy all these statements with caution: In spring and summer, Irsay and the other Indianapolis officials had repeatedly announced announcements about Lucks comeback at the start of the regular season. They moved further and further backwards until it became clear that he would not be able to play in the current season.

In Luck’s absence, the Colts signed Jacoby Brissett, who made a very good impression overall and should have guaranteed a place at least as a backup for 2018. Brissett still has two years left on his rookie contract and thus a cap hit of 760,076 and 915,114 dollars over the next two seasons.
