NFL: Jets: Mo Wilkerson about to drop out

The New York Jets are apparently on the brink of admitting an expensive, alleged mistake: according to consistent reports, defensive Lineman Muhammad Wilkerson is on the brink of extinction in New York after disappointing months.

Jets reporters Manish Mehta from the New York Daily News and Ralph Vacchiano from SNY report on this. Head coach Todd Bowles suspended Wilkerson for the game against New Orleans Saints on Sunday, allegedly after arriving “much too late”.

Several team-internal sources now report that there is “no chance” for Wilkerson to stay with the jets – which wouldn’t be cheap for Gang Green.
