NHL: Strong Draisaitl wins with Edmonton – defeat for Kühnhackl
With two assists, national ice hockey player Leon Draisaitl led his Edmonton Oilers to a home win over San Jose Sharks in the NHL.
In a 5-3 draw with the Californians, Draisaitl scored the first two goals of Mark Letestu (15th) and Ryan Strome (19th) to score 24 and 25 this season. Despite victory, Edmonton remains the second worst team in the West.
Meanwhile, Tom Kühnhackl lost 2-4 with the Pittsburgh Penguins at Colorado Avalanche. The attacker stood on the ice for just under nine minutes, but remained without a dot. For the Stanley Cup champion, it was his fourth defeat in the past five games. Korbinian Holzer was not used in the 3:5 of his Anaheim Ducks at the New Jersey Devils.
