NFL: Jaguars fans send Jadeveon Clowney garbage cans
The fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars 10-4 campaigned for their quarterback and reacted curiously to the criticism of Jadeveon Clowney. The Houston Texans linebacker called Blake Bortles “garbage”after the defeat in Florida at 7:45am. While Bortles saw the matter relatively calmly in view of the victory and the resulting first playoff participation since 2007, the Bortles supporters expressed their resentment in other ways.
Following the “garbage”commentary by Clowney, Jaguars fans ordered garbage cans in an online mail order company and had them sent to Clowney addressed to the Texans’ premises. Pictures of this they posted on the social media.
“It’s Christmas. It’s the time to give,”a Jaguar fan told ESPN.”Let’s have a little fun with it.”
Bortles threw in the game against the Texans for 326 yards and three touchdowns. If he himself couldn’t handle the criticism of his opponent, he said:”If we are supposed to be’ rubbish’, then I have absolutely no problem being’ rubbish’,”Bortles explained.
