The finger!

In the game against the Washington Wizards Nikola Vucevic had to be replaced by Orlando Magic, after which the diagnosis was made: The Montenegrin player broke his left index finger.

According to ESPN, this means that Vucevic will be out for six to eight weeks. This resulted in an X-ray examination during the game. The Magic confirmed the injury and announced that Vucevic will be operated on in the next few days.

Vucevic had already clashed with Wizards-Center Ian Mahinmi in the first quarter,”I tried to get out,”he later described the scene,”I probably got stuck with my finger. I’m not quite sure. But I heard a bang when it happened.”

With Vucevic, the Magic is already the fourth starter of the season – Evan Fournier (ankle), Aaron Gordon (wade) and Terrence Ross (knee) are also injured. Vucevic had hitherto played an average of 17.8 points and 9.6 rebounds.

“I’ve never been part of a team with so many injuries, and most of them are also tedious things,”the center said angrily,”and now it’s happened to me. That’s bullshit. It looks like we’re just gonna have a lot of bad luck this season.”
