NBA: First Global Youth Basketball Competition

From 7. till 12. August the Jr. NBA World Championship at the ESPN World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. The NBA announced the introduction of the Jr. NBA World Championship, a worldwide unique youth basketball tournament for the best U14 boys and girls teams from all over the world.

The tournament will include 16 regional champions (eight US and eight international teams each) who will compete for the opening event of the 7th World Championships. till 12. August 2018 to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.

The draft for European players starts in April 2018 at a selection camp in Slovenia. The regional European champion is made up of the top players of the 17th European Jr. NBA League Programmes (Czech Republic, England, Finland, France, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Serbia, Spain, Sweden and Turkey).

Every country is invited to present its best Jr. NBA League players. They will compete against each other at the selection camp in Slovenia to win one of the ten places in the girls’ or boys’ team and Europa in the Jr. NBA World Championship.
